Trade fairs reinstated in time for FeuerTrutz 2021

The Bavarian state government has announced a further easing of Covid-19 restrictions, offering the trade fair industry a clear prospect of re-opening. Provided there is a sustained decline in infection rates, it will be possible for trade fair operations to resume by 1 September 2021 at the latest. This decision reaffirms the timetable for FeuerTrutz, which is set to take place from 18 to 19 October 2021 on-site in Nuremberg with extra digital content. Following this good news, exhibitor registrations have meanwhile increased to more than 130.

The flexible concept for FeuerTrutz has always been about giving exhibitors a choice between an on-site only, online only or hybrid exhibit. The numerous discussions with exhibitors and the current number of registrations send out a clear message: 95% of exhibitors registered so far have opted for on-site participation with digital add-ons. This shows how keen they are to showcase their products live again, talk about them face-to-face with customers at their stands and rekindle business relationships, while at the same time leveraging the benefits of the digital channels. The state government has now given the official go-ahead for on-site events, which will considerably simplify the intensive planning phase that is now starting. Naturally, a comprehensive hygiene plan will ensure the safety of all participants at the venue. The rules applying to trade fair visitors are regularly updated at:

This decision has also generated momentum for the parallel on-site Fire Protection Congress organised by FeuerTrutz Network. This event will still be live streamed as planned to accommodate those delegates who are not able to travel. For information about the fire protection congress please go to:
