Future-Focused Dialogue Among Equals: Initiative Online Print Invites Participants to “Mind on Tap” at the Online Print Summit 2026

Under the guiding theme “Re:Inventing Print for the On-Demand Era,” the European online print industry will gather on 11 and 12 March 2026, at the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich for the Online Print Summit (OPS). Initiative Online Print e.V. (IOP) will once again actively contribute to shaping the program and, with the new dialogue format “Mind on Tap,” will create space for open exchange, contextual insight, and networking.

The Online Print Summit is regarded as the leading strategy conference for the online print industry. Managing directors, decision-makers, and technology experts come together here to discuss the defining trends and challenges shaping the digital print industry. Initiative Online Print contributes its perspective as an independent platform representing leading European online print companies.

“Mind on Tap”: A Dialogue Format for the Industry

On 11 March 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Roland Keppler and Dominik Haacke will moderate an open discussion session in the foyer of the congress hall on behalf of IOP. The new format “Mind on Tap” takes up the key impulses of the first conference day and invites participants to further develop these ideas collectively.

The focus is on dialogue among equals – practical, interactive, and clearly rooted in industry realities. The objective is not only to assess strategic developments but also to derive concrete courses of action for companies.

“Since its founding, IOP has stood for open knowledge transfer and partnership-based dialogue – regardless of company size or market position,” explains Roland Keppler. “With ‘Mind on Tap,’ we are creating a framework in which experiences can be shared, perspectives debated, and new momentum generated.”

Three Areas of Transformation in Focus

In terms of content, the discussion session builds on the central topics of the Online Print Summit 2026:

Intelligent Infrastructure: Automation, robotics, and cloud-based production environments as a response to skilled labor shortages and increasing efficiency requirements

Connected Sales: The evolution from the traditional online printer to an integrated “print integrator” that is directly embedded into its customers’ value creation processes via APIs and AI-powered systems

Customer-Centric Innovation: AI-powered design processes, optimized user experiences, and data-driven services aimed at sustainably strengthening customer loyalty

IOP regards these topics as key levers for ensuring the long-term competitiveness of the online print industry and supports its members through dedicated working groups and project initiatives.

A Platform for Exchange and Collective Advancement

For Initiative Online Print, the Online Print Summit traditionally provides the framework to consolidate current projects and industry topics and to capture new impulses. These include, among others, working groups on AI strategies as well as initiatives in the areas of sustainability and regulatory requirements.

“The pace of change in our industry is high. Those who assess technological developments at an early stage and actively engage within the network strengthen their own competitiveness,” emphasizes Dominik Haacke. “We invite all participants to contribute and to become part of a strong European online print network.”

With “Mind on Tap,” IOP is sending a clear message: the future is shaped through dialogue.
