Automatic docking, whether as an industrial application, a robust hybrid interface, an industrial robot or much more, requires a durable solution that can be individually adapted to your system requirements. The ODU-MAC® Silver-Line products are characterized by their durability with mating cycles of 100,000 to 10 million. The 360° contacting guarantees maximum reliability. It has a large number of contact points and a seamless connection that effortlessly withstands even the strongest vibrations and shocks. Depending on the installation space and mechanical features, the ODU-MAC® Silver-Line offers a choice of eight docking frames that can be fitted with different modules. Deviations in automated workflows cannot be prevented. This is why ODU offers special frames with a tolerance of up to +/- 4.0 mm to ensure a safe connection even with slight displacements in docking systems.

The ODU DOCK Silver-Line is available in three different sizes with different contact inserts. Shortening the production cycle, improving reproducibility and the comparability of results are all linked to the right connector and the right contact technology. The high level of reliability also ensures the availability of your systems. Thanks to the individual configurability to individual customer requirements, ODU occupies a leading position among manufacturers of connectors and optimizes every docking system.

Quick-change head solution – minimal maintenance with millions of mating cycles

Docking systems are inserted hundreds of thousands of times. However, the installed components must be laboriously maintained and, if necessary, completely replaced, which leads to a complete system shutdown. The quick-change head solution from ODU significantly reduces this downtime with mating cycles of up to 10 million. If the connector needs to be replaced, the front part of the connector frame can be changed in seconds, while the rear part, including the cable assembly, remains unchanged. This means that the connection remains continuous without the need for a complete shutdown of the entire system.
