Glassdome Partners with Cofinity-X: Officially Launching Catena-X-based PCF Exchange Service

– Strengthening OEM and Supplier Linkage through Automation of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Data Generation and Exchange

– Securing Core Infrastructure for Local Business Expansion through European Subsidiary Established Earlier This Year

Glassdome, a carbon emission data management solution provider, announced on November 27th, 2025 that it has signed a strategic partnership with Cofinity-X, operating company of the global data ecosystem for the automotive supply chain ‘Catena-X’.

Through this partnership, Glassdome integrated Cofinity-X’s Dataspace OS into the Glassdome platform, establishing a system for interoperability and secure exchange of carbon data between Automotive OEMs and their suppliers.

Glassdome achieved this partnership milestone based on its European subsidiary, which was established in March of this year. It is expected to become the core foundation for future local business expansion in the EU.

Catena-X is an industrial data ecosystem led by European Automotive OEMs, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. It is setting a global standard for the unified sharing of data across the entire supply chain. Participation in Catena-X is more and more becoming a prerequisite for future OEM partnerships, making it crucial for Korean export companies to prepare.

Cofinity-X, the first operating company and a core support organization for Catena-X, provides the necessary technical infrastructure, enables the onboarding of participants and operates a marketplace for apps and services.  One of those apps is  Dataspace OS (DOS), which enables standardized, secure, and sovereign data exchange among automotive industry participants.

Glassdome has directly integrated Cofinity-X’s DOS, along with the Eclipse Dataspace Components Connector (EDC), into its platform. This integration establishes a system capable of securely transmitting Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data to OEMs and receiving necessary data from partners in a standardized format, all based on ISO 14067 and Catena-X certification standards.

This integrated solution allows clients to manage PCF calculation automation, data exchange enforcing security and sovereignty, and regulatory submission/customer reporting response all within a single workflow. A key feature is the ability to comply with global regulations and supply chain demands without the need for separate IT infrastructure setup.

Thomas Rösch, CEO of Cofinity-X, stated, “The collaboration with Glassdome will expand the use of the Dataspace OS and simplify accessibility for the global OEM and supplier network.”

TJ Yoon, Managing Director of Glassdome’s European Subsidiary, commented, “At a time when EU supply chain regulations are being fully implemented, the Catena-X-based data exchange structure is becoming an essential infrastructure. Through our cooperation with Cofinity-X, we will support manufacturing companies to stably meet global regulatory standards and quickly respond to supply chain requirements.”
