Plastic products are becoming increasingly complex, while expectations regarding quality, sustainability and process reliability continue to rise. Recyclates have to be assessed with confidence, sophisticated material systems must be characterised reliably and production processes need to be monitored efficiently. At the same time, digitalisation, sensor technology and artificial intelligence are opening up new possibilities for polymer analytics. The conference addresses precisely these challenges and demonstrates how modern analytical methods can support innovation, product safety and competitiveness.
The programme will feature practical presentations on incoming goods inspection of recyclates, mobile analytics for polymer materials, industrial computed tomography, DSC/Raman coupling for polymer characterisation and modern inline spectroscopy systems for extrusion. Additional contributions will highlight camera-based sample monitoring, polymer rheology and AI-supported quantitative analysis of recyclates.
Topics such as chemometrics, sensor fusion, augmented reality and predictive AI will show how digital tools are expanding conventional polymer analytics and creating new opportunities for material evaluation, process monitoring and quality control. In this way, the conference focuses on key future topics that are becoming increasingly important for the plastics industry.
In addition to the technical programme, the event will provide ample opportunity for professional exchange. Participants can discuss current questions with speakers, share experiences with users from various industries and make direct contact with technology providers.
The top 5 benefits of the event:
- Gain insights into current challenges facing the plastics industry
- Discover modern analytical methods from research to industrial practice
- Understand the role of digitalisation and AI in materials analysis
- Exchange ideas directly with experts, users and technology providers
- Take away practical impulses for day-to-day work in analytics and quality assurance
