The Reactor platform simplifies the collection, registration and analysis of data for all types of processes. At killtec, the application coordinates all processes from precise checking of incoming goods to efficient warehousing processes supported by handheld scanners. Reactor can also be used on permanently mounted tablets, for example on forklift trucks, as is the case at killtec.

Self-defined special processes

What’s special about the Reactor Platform is that it makes it very easy to develop user applications directly in the ERP system. So you can customize special processes to suit your specific requirements and integrate them quickly and easily yourself. killtec used this functionality to allow for precise tracking of pallets in transit, direct linking of pallets with shipping orders, target moving of goods to specific storage locations, and optimal retrieval of sample goods with automated packaging and label printing. Killtec was able to seamlessly integrate these specialized processes itself and thereby support individual workflows efficiently.

A Prime Opportunity at Directions EMEA 2023 

Directions EMEA, the world’s largest conference for Microsoft Dynamics partners, will take place from November 1st to 3rd in Lyon, France. Over 3,000 Dynamics professionals will attend the conference, representing more than 900 partners from 70 countries. Women in Dynamics will be hosting several activities during the event, and BE-terna is proud to be able to act as a sponsor for them during this year’s Directions EMEA. 

By actively supporting diversity and inclusion, BE-terna aims to set an example and encourage others to join in building a more equitable future.

In 2019, MORE & MORE decided to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the BE-terna Fashion industry solution to replace isolated applications and create a solid IT foundation for future growth. In parallel, the conversion to a scalable Azure Cloud infrastructure took place.

The project was initiated in late 2019 and successfully rolled out in September 2020. The wholesale implementation took place in May 2021, followed by the retail sector in September of the same year. The short implementation time of only three months for the new BE-POS checkout solution was particularly remarkable. The retail processes could also be adapted in just four months.

Stephan Kadlec, Head of IT at MORE & MORE, emphasized the flexibility of the BE-terna team and its solution-oriented approach: “I was very impressed by how the BE-terna project team, with its extensive fashion experience, was able to respond to the individual requirements from our employees and offer solutions for various issues without straying from the fashion standard. SUSS MicroTec Group, known for its innovative solutions for microstructure applications, was looking for a modern data analysis solution to make the most of its extensive data assets. In cooperation with BE-terna, a renowned provider of business software solutions, Qlik Sense was chosen as the ideal solution to combine data from different sources, enable real-time analyses and present them in user-friendly visualizations.

More than 200 active users from various divisions are now using Qlik Sense to optimize their processes. In the Operations department, the focus is on quality assurance and purchasing. The Sales and Service departments use the solution to visualize customer relationships and service metrics. Research and Development benefits from an app that enables a detailed evaluation of project resources.
