<p>Ensuring utmost safety remains of major importance and is guaranteed by an integrated laser safety shutter within the BrixXHUB Ultra. Furthermore, if necessary, the BrixXHUB Ultra can be completed by an internal, switchable ND filter.</p>
<p>Seamless integration with various microscope types is made possible through its multi-mode fiber coupling, allowing easy adaptation to different fiber core shapes, diameters, and connector types.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">By combining Omicron’s BrixX lasers and a standalone desktop housing, Omicron provides researchers with a flexible laser tool to use in laboratories.</p>
<p><b>Independent use of up to 4 different wavelengths</b></p>
<p>The four separately controllable laser channels can be equipped with the same or different wavelengths from 375nm to 1550nm (one wavelength per channel) with up to 10W/channel. This provides ultimate flexibility when examining one sample with four different wavelengths or for examining four samples with the same wavelength. High safety is provided via fiber detection per channel, as there is no laser emission if the fiber is not connected.</p>
<p><b>Touchscreen interface</b></p>
<p>Due to modern control possibilities via touchscreen, no additional computer is required to control the system. This allows a higher level of independency and user-friendliness within laboratory applications. In order to integrate the system into more complex processes, it can also be controlled via the included Windows-based Omicron Control Center software or third-party software.</p>
<p><b>Timer Function</b></p>
<p>To facilitate the exact management of irradiation times when illuminating samples, the BrixXLAB has a built-in timer functionality that can either be activated for a single channel or grouped for multiple channels.</p>
<p>The BrixXLAB can be applied in fluorescence analysis, as a light source in analytical processes, as well as for drug development, such as in photodynamic cancer therapy.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text"><b> With the new “LaserNest” desktop lasers, laser- and LED specialist Omicron</b> <b>provides higher flexibility and usability of diode lasers within laboratories.</b></p>
<p>The new laser systems developed by Omicron called &quot;LaserNest&quot; are a symbiosis of the proven LuxX+ diode lasers and a desktop housing. This combination is an easy to use plug &amp; play laser light source for science and research.</p>
<p><b>Fast Modulation</b></p>
<p>The innovative high-performance systems are equipped with one laser module with wavelengths from the UV to the near IR range. The &quot;LaserNest&quot; offers fast analogue intensity modulation with up to 3MHz and fast digital modulation with up to 250MHz. An additional electronic shutter function provides complete on/off modulation with a switching time of &lt;1µs and frequencies up to 500kHz.The light output can be either single-mode (PM) fibres, multi-mode fibres or liquid light guides.</p>
<p><b>Optimal Configuration</b></p>
<p>The LuxX+ laser modules within the “LaserNest” are available with up to 500 milliwatt of optical output power and more than 30 different wavelengths between 375 and 1550nm. Optional clean-up filters and a fail-safe laser safety shutter can be directly installed in the system to adapt the “LaserNest” systems to the customer’s application and safety requirements. Modulation inputs with software-selectable voltage ranges and impedance ensure easy interfacing to external devices like cameras, microscopes or DAC cards.</p>
<p>The device can be conveniently controlled via the integrated USB-2.0 interface by the included software „Omicron Control Center“ or third party software. Typical applications include microscopy, fluorescence analysis and the use as a light source in analytical processes.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">Compared to its smaller LEDMOD.V2 version the new Omicron LED modules LEDMOD.HP offer higher output powers and a wider selection of available wavelengths for power-intensive applications in industry and research. With more than 40 different wavelengths from deep UV to near IR and optical output powers of up to two watts after a Liquid Light Guide or with fibre optics, the LEDMOD.HP series is suitable for many applications such as microscopy, chemical analysis, spectroscopy, forensics.</p>
<p>The LED modules are available in a fibre coupled as well as a free emission version. The modules are equipped with modulation inputs for fast analogue intensity modulation with up to 500 kilohertz and digital modulation with a switching time of less than 1µs. High-precision temperature stabilization of the LED chips ensures power and wavelength stability. This is particularly important in applications that require exact performance and high stability of the emission spectrum.</p>
<p>Digital modulation can be performed via external modulation signals or via an internal programmable signal generator. A SYNC output ensures synchronization with external devices such as cameras, spectrometers or lock-in amplifiers. The supplied Omicron Control Center software or the customer&#8217;s own software can be used to conveniently control one or more LEDMOD.HP modules via the integrated RS-232 and USB-2.0 interfaces.</p>
<p>Omicron&#8217;s new LEDMOD.HP modules will go into series production in the third quarter of 2019 and will be presented at the world&#8217;s leading trade fair Laser 2019 -World of Photonics in Munich from 24 to 27 June 2019 in Hall B2, Stand 115.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">The new LuxX.HSA diode lasers from the laser specialist Omicron present themselves with innovative functions and extended performance features in a compact design.</p>
<p>Under the name LuxX.HSA, laser specialist Omicron introduces a new diode laser series that sets new standards in modulation speed. With ultra-fast, analogue modulation of intensity up to 150 megahertz, digital modulation with more than 250 megahertz and an electronic shutter with full modulation depth up to more than 500 kilohertz, the LuxX.HSA lasers have unique modulation speeds in their compact size of only four by four by ten centimeters. Versatile customer-configurable input signals such as TTL, 0&#8230;1V and differential modulation signals allow easy integration of the lasers into customer designs.</p>
<p>The LuxX.HSA diode lasers are equipped with integrated RS-232 and USB2.0 interfaces, which enable fast and easy interaction with the application. The innovative Omicron optics compensate astigmatism. The beam is thus generated with a diameter of approximately one millimetre or optionally 0.7mm 1/e². The focus is absolutely round, which is particularly important for microlithographic applications.</p>
<p>For biotechnological applications, the new product family of the laser specialist is the first choice, as the LuxX.HSA laser provides over 30 different wavelengths from 375 to 1550 nm as a directly modulatable and compact light source. The lasers are available with optical output powers of up to 500mW in single-mode operation.</p>
<p>Omicron&#8217;s new LuxX.HSA diode lasers will go into series production in the third quarter of 2019 and will be presented at the world&#8217;s leading trade show &quot;Laser 2019 &#8211; World of Photonics&quot; from June 24 to 27, 2019 in Munich in Hall B2, Booth 115.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text"><b> With the new “LightHUB+” and “LightHUB Ultra” laser light engines, laser- and</b> <b>LED specialist Omicron provides higher flexibility in the world of Microscopy</b> <b>and Biotechnology.</b></p>
<p>Omicron‘s innovative „LightHUB+” and “LightHUB Ultra” laser light engines represent a new form of laser light source for science and research. The high-performance systems can be equipped with one to six (LightHUB+) / seven (LightHUB Ultra) laser modules of different wavelengths from UV to the near IR range and offer fast analogue intensity modulation with up to 1,5MHz and digital full ON/OFF modulation with a switching time of &lt;1µs for each channel. The individual laser modules can easily be exchanged and added by the user. Hence the systems can be adapted to changing application requirements and are future-proof.</p>
<p>With a direct and active temperature control of the laser modules and the complete laser bed it is now possible to keep the power level ultra-stable. This feature guarantees reliable and repeatable results in the customer’s applications.</p>
<p>The light of the various lasers is combined and coupled efficiently into one (LightHUB+) or up to two (LightHUB Ultra) polarization-maintaining single-mode broadband or multi-mode fibres. The LightHUB Ultra additionally offers the possibility to integrate a fast fibre-switch or fibre splitter with defined splitting ratio. Laser modules with up to 300 milliwatt of optical output power and wavelengths between 375 and 850nm can be used in the &quot;LightHUB&quot; systems. Optional clean-up filters and a fail safe laser safety shutter can be directly installed in the system to adapt the “LightHUB” system to the customer’s application and safety requirements.</p>
<p>High-impedance modulation inputs ensure easy interfacing to external devices like cameras, microscopes or DAC cards.</p>
<p>The device can be conveniently controlled via the integrated USB-2.0 interface by the included software „Omicron Control Center“ or third party software. Typical applications include microscopy, fluorescence analysis and the use as multispectral light source in analytical processes.</p>
<p>The new &quot;LightHUB+&quot; and “LightHUB Ultra” laser light engines will be presented at Photonics West 2019 exhibition, held in San Francisco, CA – USA from Feb. 5-7, 2019 at booth no. 2163 and are already available.</p>

<p>For all single-mode lasers of the series LuxX, PhoxX and QuixX, Omicron now offers higher powers. At the wavelength 473nm up to 300mW and at 515nm an output power of up to 150mW is possible. Also for the multi-mode diode-based lasers of the BrixX High Power series higher optical output powers are now available. The following wavelengths in the UV and IR range can now be ordered with higher optical output powers: 375nm/400mW, 445nm/5000mW and 488nm/2000mW as well as 638nm/1200mW and 2200mW.</p>
<p>Omicron will present its latest products during „Photonics West 2019“ exhibition in San Francisco, USA, Feb. 5-7, 2019, booth no. 2163.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">Omicron‘s innovative „LedHUB LED Light Engine“ represents a new form of LED light source for science and research. The high-performance system can be equipped with one to six LED modules of many different wavelengths between 340nm in the UV up to 940nm in the near IR and offers fast analogue intensity modulation with up to 200KHz and digital modulation with a switching time of &lt;2µs for each channel. The individual LED modules can easily be exchanged and added by the user. Hence the system can be adapted to individual application requirements and is future-proof.</p>
<p>With a direct and active temperature control of the LED chips it is possible to keep the power level and the emission spectra of the LED chips stable. This feature guarantees reliable and repeatable results in the customer‘s applications.</p>
<p>The light of the various high power LEDs is combined within the &quot;LedHUB&quot; by special optics and can be coupled efficiently into quartz glass fibres or liquid light guides.</p>
<p>LEDs with up to 5.000 milliwatt of optical output power can be used in the &quot;LedHUB&quot; systems. Through directly accessible filter holders, that can be equipped with 25mm standard filters, the emission of each single LED may additionally be adapted to the application. The modulation is possible via external modulation signals as well as by an internal programmable signal generator. A SYNC in- and output ensures the synchronization of / from external devices like cameras, microscopes or DAC cards.</p>
<p>Especially for microscopic applications like Calcium imaging with FURA-2 fluorophores, that require rapid toggling at 340nm and 385nm, the LedHUB is an ideal alternative to lamp based Monochromators or sources with slow filter wheels.</p>
<p>The device can be conveniently controlled via the integrated RS-232 and USB-2.0 interface, the included software „Omicron Control Center“ or third party software. Typical applications include microscopy, fluorescence analysis and the use as multispectral light source in forensics.</p>
<p>The &quot;LedHUB LED light engines&quot; are offered with a manufacturer&#8217;s warranty of three years.</p>
<p>Omicron will present its latest products during „Laser World of Photonics 2017“ exhibition in Munich, June 26 &#8211; 29, 2017.</p>

<p>The innovative company Omicron raised the optical output powers of its single-mode diode lasers LuxX, LuxX+, PhoxX+ and QuixX, higher powers are now available at 473nm/300mW and 638nm/200mW.</p>
<p>Also the multi-mode diode based lasers of the BrixX HP series are now available with higher powers in the UV to the IR. 375nm/400mW, 445nm/5Watt and 638nm/1.8Watt are only some examples.</p>
<p>Additionally to the higher powers, for all LuxX, LuxX+ and PhoxX+ single-mode lasers Omicron now offers a warranty period of 36 months without a limitation in working hours. Omicron will present its latest products during „Laser World of Photonics 2017“ exhibition in Munich, June 26-29, 2017.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">With the innovative “QuixX” laser series, the German laser expert Omicron provides compact laser modules with fully integrated driver electronics, high precision temperature regulation and beam shaping optics. The laser is able to emit ultrashort pulses down to 50 picoseconds with user-adjustable pulse shape as well as continuous wave (CW) in combination with fast analogue modulation and digital gating / shuttering in the megahertz range.</p>
<p>In picosecond operation, QuixX offers a “narrow-pulse” mode with pure Gaussian pulse shape. In “wide-pulse” mode, the laser is able to emit longer pulses up to 1 nanosecond and higher peak powers. For even more flexibility, a so called “expert mode” allows the user to adjust the pulse-shape to the exact needs of the application. Both CW and picosecond operation offer the possibility for laser intensity and peak power modulation with up to 3 megahertz. Furthermore the modules have got an electronic shutter function which can switch the emission in full on/off regime at a bandwidth of more than 150 kilohertz. In pulsed mode the repetition rate can either be triggered by an external synchronization signal, or it can be generated by the internal, programmable frequency generator with up to 100 megahertz. The delay generator for the SYNC output can be used to synchronize external devices with up to 28 nanoseconds pulse-to-sync delay and 10 picoseconds resolution. The QuixX systems are available with up to 500 milliwatt optical output power in single-mode and wavelengths between 375 and 2090 nanometer. The light output can be either free-space or fibre-coupled with high efficiency.</p>
<p>The QuixX modules can be integrated into new or already existing applications via its RS-232 and USB-2.0 interfaces in an optimal way. For easy use, a comfortable control software is included in delivery. Typical applications are time-resolved single photon counting, spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy including FRAP, TIRF, FLIM and STED as well as the use as seed or pump laser for fibre lasers and MOPA systems.</p>
<p>Serial production of the new QuixX picosecond diode lasers by Omicron already started and the lasers will be presented at the world-leading exhibition „Photonics West“ in San Francisco, January 30th to February 2nd, 2017.</p>
