										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">Rosenberger has expanded its portfolio of high-voltage connectors with the launch of the new HVR<sup>®</sup>25 series. The HVR<sup>®</sup>25 is the smallest shielded high-voltage connector compared to latest class 2 connectors. It offers a current capacity of up to 40 A with a cable cross section of 4 mm². With its compact design, high reliability, and optimized cost-performance ratio, the HVR®25 is fully in line with Rosenberger’s principle of &quot;Precision Without Complexity.&quot;</p>
<p>As vehicle architectures evolve toward 800- and 1,000-volt system platforms, precise and efficient connector solutions have never been more important. The HVR<sup>®</sup>25 was specifically developed for low-current auxiliary systems that require efficiency, safety, and ease of integration. Typical applications include PTC heaters, inverters, and onboard chargers (OBCs).</p>
<p><b>Compact, smart, and efficient</b></p>
<p>Compared to current Class 2 connectors, the HVR<sup>®</sup>25 reduces space and weight by up to 50%, as well as significantly reducing the cost of both, the connector and the cable assembly. Its compact design simplifies packaging and strikes an optimal balance between performance, size, and cost efficiency.</p>
<p><b>Reliable and safe performance</b></p>
<p>The HVR<sup>®</sup>25 meets standards of vibration according to LV215-2 &amp; SG3 and USCAR. It is RoHS compliant and features shielding and an integrated HVIL (high voltage interlock). The system achieves protection classes of up to IP6K9K when mated and IPXXB when unmated. Its operating temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C ensures reliable performance under harsh environmental conditions.</p>

<p>The product family includes cable connectors and headers with a common interface for cable cross sections ranging from 1.5 mm² to 4 mm².</p>

KG appointed Josef Rottenaicher as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Rosenberger Group on October 1, 2025. He succeeds Franz Praxenthaler, who retired after an impressive 48 years with the company. The management and the board of directors would like to thank Franz Praxenthaler for his many years of service and welcome Josef Rottenaicher to his new role – with a clear commitment to continuity and trust in the company&#8217;s management.</p>
<p>Josef Rottenaicher brings extensive experience from his time at BayernLB, where his responsibilities included corporate and investment banking. Since joining Rosenberger in 2016, he has played a key role in numerous strategic initiatives and structural projects. Most recently, Rottenaicher was responsible for the Group Finance &amp; Controlling division. With Josef Rottenaicher, an experienced financial strategist is taking over responsibility for the financial management and further development of the Rosenberger Group. His expertise and deep understanding of the company’s structure lay the foundation for a forward-looking financial strategy focused on both stability and growth.</p>
<p><b>Tribute to Franz Praxenthaler&#8217;s achievements</b><br />
After a total of 48 years of service, Franz Praxenthaler was honored with a ceremonial farewell on September 25 in the company&#8217;s own staff restaurant. Well over 100 guests, including colleagues, business partners and representatives of the owner family, attended the event. In his speech, Hans Rosenberger particularly highlighted Praxenthaler&#8217;s vision, reliability and contribution to the company&#8217;s extraordinary development. The management, colleagues and works council also thanked him for his many years of service, and Franz Praxenthaler said his farewells, visibly moved and grateful.</p>
<p><b>Outlook</b><br />
With the appointment of Josef Rottenaicher as CFO, Rosenberger is combining continuity with fresh momentum. Rottenaicher emphasizes that he sees the organization of finances as an active shaper of corporate strategy – with a focus on transparency, efficiency, and global controllability. KG presents the new RPC-0.80 series, an innovative interface for specified transmissions up to 145 GHz. The precision coaxial connector enables high-precision measurements and low-loss connections in the sub-THz range and is particularly suitable for applications in which conventional interfaces such as 1.00 mm or 1.85 mm reach their physical limits. It is based on the international standards IEC 61169-64 and IEEE Std 287, which define the mechanical and electrical interfaces as well as the requirements for precision coaxial connectors for high-frequency and microwave measurements.</p>
<p>The growing demand for broadband high-frequency solutions in areas such as sub-THz and terahertz communication, radar and satellite systems, scientific spectroscopy and material characterization requires precise, impedance-controlled connector systems. The RPC-0.80 meets these requirements, offering high signal integrity and stable frequency transmission characteristics.</p>

<p>The compact coaxial connector system supports data transmission in the frequency range from DC up to 9 GHz and is currently already utilized by leading automotive manufacturers. It is ideally suited for applications requiring high data rates in tight installation spaces.</p>

Straight and rightangled cable and PCB connectors are available, as well as single, double, and quad housing modules — including waterproof variants. The optional CPA (Connector Position Assurance) feature prevents unintentional disconnection. CPA can only engage when the connector is fully mated and correctly aligned, ensuring maximum connection reliability, even under harsh conditions.</p>

Designed specifically for automotive applications such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), driver monitoring and autonomous driving, these solutions offer high data transmission rates, flexible integration options and excellent EMC shielding.</p>
<p><b>High-performance coaxial interfaces</b></p>
<p>Rosenberger’s new connection solutions are based on FAKRA, HFM<sup>®</sup> and RMC<sup>®</sup> coaxial interfaces, which cover frequency ranges DC up to 12 GHz. These interfaces are ideally suited to demanding automotive camera systems, such as front, rear and surround view cameras. They offer an impedance of 50 Ω and can withstand at least 10 mating cycles. Depending on the technical requirements, variants with or without tolerance compensation are available. Tolerance compensation of up to 0.5 mm in the X, Y, and Z directions, as well as a maximum tilt angle of 1.5°, is possible.</p>
<p><b>Modular design for maximum flexibility</b></p>
<p>A key feature of the camera connection solutions is the modular connector system, which allows for straightforward integration into high-density electronic environments. With customer-specific housing variants made of metal or plastic, as well as pigtail configurations, the components can be precisely tailored to individual requirements. Rosenberger also provides design recommendations and optimised SMD footprints for integration on PCBs with varying substrate thicknesses.</p>

<p>Rosenberger’s customised “DirectLink” pigtails or wire-to-board solutions are particularly advantageous in driver monitoring systems, which are often installed in tight spaces, such as behind rear-view mirrors or in the headliner. <p><b>New IEC 63171-7 ED2 standard paves the way for the future of Single Pair Ethernet</b></p>
<p>The IEC 63171-7 ED2 standard, initiated by the PROFIBUS User Organization (PNO), defines a new connector face for future Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) connectors. It extends the IEC 63171-7 standard to  non-hybrid applications, thereby providing the basis for the global interoperability of SPE systems.</p>
<p><b>Focus on implementation of the new standard at Rosenberger</b></p>
<p>A unified and reliable standardization process is key to the success of new technologies. Rosenberger is committed to supporting the development and implementation of the new industry standard. <p>The cooperation between ept and Rosenberger integrates both types in combined hybrid connectors which can be assembled on the printed circuit board using either conventional soldering technology or the advantageous press-fit technology.</p>

By using RoProxCon®, both data and power can be transferred efficiently, e.g. in turntable mechanisms and robot arms. The robust connectors are able to withstand high shock loads and transmit 30 W of electrical power via inductive coupling.</p>
<p>In addition, they support data transfer rates of up to 3.125 Gbps at a carrier frequency of 60 GHz via an air interface. Furthermore, they enable reliable transmission through a wide variety of materials.</p>
