<p>The <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/ps-fs-fiber-lasers/femtofiber-ultra-fd" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">FemtoFiber ultra FD</a> provides robust, hands-free femtosecond laser delivery using hollow-core fiber technology combined with TOPTICA’s proprietary <a href="https://www.toptica.com/technology/toptica-proprietary/cool" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">COOL<sup>AC</sup></a> auto-alignment system. Originally developed for the iChrome fluorescence microscopy platform, COOL<sup>AC</sup> now brings automated fiber coupling to the ultrafast regime – making multi-photon imaging faster, safer, and more accessible.</p>
<p>“Our goal was to remove complexity from high-performance imaging,” said Luisa Hofmann, Product Manager Biophotonics &amp; Materials at TOPTICA. “With the FemtoFiber ultra FD, users can focus on their science – not on beam paths.”</p>
<p>The award was presented by Europa Science Ltd and the Laser World of Photonics jury, recognizing the system’s impact on both clinical and research imaging environments. With support for popular wavelengths (780/920/1050 nm), the FemtoFiber ultra FD is compatible with common fluorophores and optimized for deep-tissue imaging and nonlinear excitation techniques.</p></div>

<p>The new <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/ecdl-dfb-lasers/dl-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">DL pro BFY</a> is especially suitable for applications where a care-free operation of the lasers is required. It can even run as an outdoor system, equipped with temperature stabilization, to withstand massive winds and pressure fluctuations.</p>
<p>The DL pro is a reliable ECDL laser for almost all wavelengths between 369 nm and 1770 nm. With power up to 400 mW and free running linewidth down to 0.6 kHz, the DL pro is a proven solution for most QT applications. Its digital controller allows a stable performance, the GUI making remote access easy, which is very convenient when the DL pro rack version is requested. It is fully compatible with the extensive TOPTICA portfolio of tunable diode lasers, driving electronics, software and accessories.</p>

<p>&quot;Our DFB pro 633 provides a mode-hop-free tuning range of 200 GHz. Driven by the DLC pro controller, it is ready to be integrated into OEM customers&#8217; tools,&quot; explains Stéphane Junique, product manager for the DFB pro laser platform at TOPTICA.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/ecdl-dfb-lasers/dfb-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">DFB pro 633</a> offers a mode-hop-free tuning range of 200 GHz. The DFB pro, a single-frequency laser based on a distributed-feedback (DFB) diode, covers wavelengths from 633 nm and 760 nm up to 3500 nm and offers a mode-hop-free tuning range of up to 1400 GHz. It is well-suited for a variety of applications, including semiconductor metrology and spectroscopy.</p>
<p>Distributed feedback (DFB) lasers unite wide tunability and high output power. The frequency-selective element – a Bragg grating – is integrated into the active section of the semiconductor and ensures continuous single-frequency operation. Due to the absence of alignment-sensitive components, <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/ecdl-dfb-lasers/dfb-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">DFB lasers</a> exhibit an exceptional stability and reliability. The lasers work under the most adverse environmental conditions – even in the Arctic or in airborne experiments.</p>

<p>Featuring diode lasers with an ultra-narrow linewidth below 1 Hz, stabilized to high-finesse optical ULE cavities, the <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/ultra-stable-laser-systems/cls" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">CLS</a> achieves exceptional frequency stability far beyond 1-second integration time. <p>Engineered for real-world applications, the CLS combines robust passive shielding, active vibration compensation, and advanced temperature stabilization to ensure peak performance even outside laboratory environments. Whether for quantum computing, precision timekeeping, or quantum sensing, TOPTICA’s CLS sets a new benchmark in ultra-stable laser technology.</p>
<p>The system is controlled by a single interface, which is hosted by the <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/laser-driving-electronics/dlc-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">DLC pro</a> and can be accessed via the PC GUI TOPAS. The interface is responsible for controlling, monitoring and locking the laser, and supports full remote operation. <p>Utilizing readily available building blocks from TOPTICA&#8217;s product portfolio, the system delivers an impressive 80 W of optical output at 532 nm while simultaneously holding the relative intensity noise (RIN) to an exceptional level below 0.02% rms (10 Hz to 10 MHz).</p>
<p>The innovative combination of the narrow-linewidth external-cavity diode laser <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/ecdl-dfb-lasers/dl-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external"><b>DL pro</b></a> with a high-performance fiber amplifier <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/fiber-lasers-amplifiers/als-ir-fiber-lasers-amplifiers" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external"><b>ALS-1064-130</b></a> and the proven resonant frequency-doubling stage <a href="https://www.toptica.com/products/tunable-diode-lasers/frequency-converted-lasers/shg-pro" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external"><b>SHG pro</b></a> significantly outperforms other, currently available DPSS or fiber-amplified based laser systems, which struggle to achieve the required combination of both high power and ultra-low noise.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">The QUPICS project – a coalition among multiple academic institutions, government labs, and technology manufacturers – has been selected to receive substantial support from the U.S. Department of Defense to accelerate the lab-to-fab transition in quantum technologies. This project, announced by officials from the Northeast Regional Defense Technology Hub <a href="https://www.nordtechub.org/" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">(NORDTECH)</a> on September 18 with an award of over $8.5M, is one of four initiatives receiving a total of <a href="https://www.nordtechub.org/nordtech-news/dod-award" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">$30M in funding</a> through the hub under the <a href="https://microelectronicscommons.org/" class="bbcode_url" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" data-wpel-link="external">Microelectronics Commons</a> program. NORDTECH is a regional consortium of government labs, defense contractors, academic institutions, and technology manufacturing organizations in New York State and one of eight Microelectronics Commons Hubs composing the U.S. Microelectronics Commons program.</p>
<p>The QUPICS team consists of AIM Photonics, Cornell University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Columbia University, Yale University, Air Force Research Laboratory, NIST, Quantinuum, Xanadu, and TOPTICA. Led by the American Institute for Manufacturing Integrated Photonics (AIM Photonics) and Cornell University, the team will develop a novel 300mm foundry fabrication platform for quantum technologies which will span the ultraviolet to the infrared. QUPICS will specially address the foundry gap for trapped ion, neutral atom, and photonic quantum technologies incorporating broadband photonics, electro-optic devices, multi-metal layer electrical functionality, and lasers into a single broadly available technology offering. QUPICS will develop and incorporate passive photonics, active components, and laser sources from the ultraviolet to the infrared geared to the use of quantum technologies. Integrated systems spanning this broad wavelength range are critical for a variety of photonics-heavy quantum systems for commercial and DoD priority applications in quantum sensing, networking, computation, and position navigation and timing (PNT). In later years QUPICS will open to multi-project wafer (MPW) runs and will be actively searching for partners from government laboratories, academia, and businesses.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="pb-text">TOPTICA Photonics is pleased to announce the addition of two distinguished professionals and long-standing TOPTICA employees to its Executive Board. While Dr. Mathias Schindler has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), Fabian Uhl has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based on TOPTICA’s innovative products and market experience in quantum technology, biotechnology and test &amp; measurement, the company continues its growth path. The strategic expansion is complemented with this additional appointment by strengthening of the operational excellence and financial transparency.</p>
<p><b>New Additions to the Executive Board</b></p>
<p><b>Dr. Mathias Schindler </b>– COO (Chief Operating Officer) – brings extensive experience to his role as COO, where he will manage production, purchasing, logistics, information technology, real estate, and quality assurance. Guided by the principle &quot;making ideas visible,&quot; Mathias and his team aim to drive operational efficiency and innovation across TOPTICA&#8217;s diverse functions.</p>
<p><b>Fabian Uhl</b> – CFO (Chief Financial Officer) – will be responsible for the group&#8217;s finances, including accounting, financial planning and control, and corporate contract review. Additionally, he will serve as the primary contact for banks and auditors. &quot;Create transparent and comprehensible finances as a basis for good decisions,&quot; says Fabian Uhl, formulating his approach to the new role.</p>

<p><b>Dr. Wilhelm Kaenders </b>– Founder &amp; President, CTO (Chief Technology Officer) – remains at the helm of TOPTICA&#8217;s technological advancements as CTO and is the company’s main representative in the field of quantum technologies. His areas of responsibility include research and development, public funding, customer service as well as quality and process management.
